Teacher's Workshops
SUN 'n FUN will host the annual Aerospace Educators' Workshop on Saturday, April 17, 2010. The all-day workshop is an excellent opportunity for educators to learn how to integrate aviation activities into their curriculum. Aviation education is both exciting and challenging, and can be integrated into any subject area and at any grade level. Workshop presenters provide handouts to accompany the activities they share.

In addition to hands on activities provided by NASA, CAP, AOPA and EAA presenters, participants may also visit the Florida Air Museum, home of the Howard Hughes Collection, where Docents will provide a guided tour. Four lucky teachers whose names are selected in a random drawing will fly with the AeroShell Aerobatic Team. The annual Ray Lien Award is presented to an outstanding aerospace educator during the luncheon.
The workshop is supported by the Central FL Chapter of the Air Force Association. Registration is just $15 for all educators. This includes admission to the workshop and the Fly-In, a totebag, breakfast and lunch. Those who are not educators but wish to join us will pay the regular SUN 'n FUN admission. A lunch ticket may be purchased for $15.
