Forums
(see schedule below)

As a SUN 'n FUN visitor you can attend any of our educational forums-FREE. They're all included with your SUN 'n FUN admission. Just pick the one that interests you, pull up a chair and have fun! The Forums area has a new location at the Central Florida Aerospace Academy across from the Florida Air Museum that houses eleven classrooms, each with a different forum every hour. Most are scheduled during the morning hours prior to the daily airshow. Over the course of the week, you'll have a choice of over 250 forums with topics ranging from international flying to sheet metal construction to how to buy your own aircraft. You'll find everything you need to dust off the wings and polish up your skills and ratings.

FAA/IA renewal credits

A few years ago the educational forums department and workshops implemented a program titled FAA/IA Renewal Credits. We began scheduling forums that had an FAA course acceptance number and by attending one of these forums, an FAA licensed mechanic could attain one hour credit towards their continuing education requirement. Since we started this program, we have issued over 200 credit hours, all for the price of a general admission ticket.

This year unfortunately, our only eligible date for 2012 credits at Sun-n-fun falls on Sunday. In an effort to accommodate those seeking a full 8 hours credit we have extended our forum hours to 4 PM. Our first class will start at 8 AM and out last class will end @ 4 PM thus giving the participant a full 8 hours credit.

Now for the good part, if you are a Florida resident you are eligible to purchase a weekend pass for $30.00. You can spend Saturday enjoying the aircraft on display, walking the vender booths and watching the airshow and Sunday getting your 8 hrs. credit.
