Evening Details:

The “Hangar Door Canteen” will honor all military personnel who have served our country at this 1940s-themed dinner/dance in SUN ’n FUN’s Hangar A.  This aircraft hangar will be decorated to reflect the “Canteen” socials made famous by the United Service Organization (USO) during the war years. The evening’s events will include:

• 1940s Big Band Entertainment and Dancing

• “A Taste of the 40s” Dinner by Terrie Lobb Catering

• Coffee and Donut Bar

• Live and Silent Auction

• Photo Op with USO Pin-Up Girls

• War Bond 50/50 and Door Prizes

Period costume or military uniforms are encouraged...and don’t forget your dancing shoes!

“Hangar Door Canteen” officially begins at 19:00 (7:00 PM) with a presentation of the colors and our National Anthem. Then dine and dance the night away to your favorite tunes from the 1940s!

CAMPING PACKAGE - $155
Includes two tickets to the Canteen and Friday night camping space w/ full hook up.(Spaces are limited and will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis.)

FLY-IN PACKAGE - $215
Includes two tickets to the Canteen, Friday night lodging (double occupancy) at the Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott just 4 miles from SUN 'n FUN ’s entrance.

Saturday breakfast and courtesy van transportation upon arrival, to and from the “Hangar Door” celebration on Friday and return to your aircraft on Saturday, are included in the package.
