Sun 'n Fun Fly-In, Inc. is centrally located in Lakeland, Florida and calls the southwest corner of the Lakeland Linder Regional Airport home. In addition to being the home of the annual Sun 'n Fun Fly-In, the Florida Air Museum and Gifts of Flight are both located on our site and open year-round.

PUBLIC TRAFFIC DRIVING TO SUN 'N FUN  

NOTICE:

Sun 'n Fun Campground Registration has moved.  It is currently located off Medulla Road in the field west of the General Auto Parking.  Please refer to arrival instructions below if you are camping in the convention campground or if you are an exhibitor.  The Exhibitor Parking entrance has also changed because of the relocation of the Camper Registration operation.

The ramps on the Polk Parkway require exact change or SunPass.  Camper tolls will exceed 25 cents (depending on the number of axles on the vehicle).

I-4 East - Exit 22 South Continue South on Park Rd.  At third light, turn East (left) on Coronet Rd.  Follow Coronet, turn East (left) on Medulla Rd.  At the light turn South (right) on County Line Rd. and then East (left) on W. Pipkin Rd. and proceed to the Public Parking Area.
I-4 East / West - Exit 25 Proceed South on County Line Rd. and turn East (left) on W. Pipkin Rd. and proceed to the Public Parking Area.

 Exit South (right) onto Waring Rd.   Continue South on Waring Rd. to S. Medulla Rd. Turn West (right) on S. Medulla Rd.  Turn West (right) again on W. Pipkin Rd.   Pass GEICO and proceed to the Public Parking Area.

 Toll Information		 Take Waring Rd. exit and turn South (left) at the light. Continue South on Waring Rd. to S. Medulla Rd.  Turn West (right) on S. Medulla Rd.  Turn West (right) again on W. Pipkin Rd.   Pass GEICO. and proceed to the Public Parking Area.
State Road 60 East / West North on County Line Rd. - East on W. Pipkin Rd. and proceed to Public Parking Area.

North or South on S. Florida Ave.

 Turn West on Pipkin Rd.  Continue straight... you will pass Lakeland Airside Center and the GEIGO on the Right (North) side of Pipkin.  Follow signage and proceed to the Public Parking Area.

COMMERCIAL EXHIBITOR TRAFFIC
I-4 East - Exit 22 South Continue South on Park Rd.  At second light, turn East (left) on Coronet Rd.  Follow Coronet, turn East (left) on Medulla Rd.  Stay on Medulla and follow signs to the Commercial Exhibitor Parking Area.

Our year-round gate is located on Doolittle Rd. in front of the Florida Air Museum at Sun 'n Fun.  This gate will be closed during convention hours.

During the week of our convention please follow signs to auto parking area.

CAMPERS DRIVING TO SUN 'N FUN

Please note:  The Camper Registration Building for RV Convention Camping has relocated across Medulla Road, in the the field (west) of the General Auto Parking lot.

Ultra Light Campers Follow Waring Rd. to stop sign - Turn West on S. Medulla - continue straight, at left-hand curve, proceed into Lakeland Airside Center - Follow signs to the Ultra Light Campground.

Transportation and Other Miscellaneous Services

AIR TRAFFIC PROCEDURES

Lakeland Airport's Control Tower will operate 6:30 AM to 9:30 PM. However, the Sun 'n Fun side (south) is closed to aircraft movements after 7:30 PM EDT. The field is also closed during the daily airshow (2:00 PM-6:00 PM). Check Graphic NOTAMS and AIM for air traffic information and procedures. Tune to ATIS upon arrival for update.

If you are flying to Lakeland (LAL), display a sign in your window indicating your tie-down area by using one of the abbreviations below:
